Volcano Location: 48’59’’ N, 153’ 28’’ E
Area: Northern Kurile Islands, Chirinkotan Isl., Russia
Summit Elevation: 2375 ft (724 m)

Volcanic Activity Summary: On the 29^th of November a short-time ash emission was fixed with the height of more than 8 km above sea level. At present time the volcano is in non- active state.

Volcanic cloud height: No ash cloud produced.

Other volcanic cloud information: No ash cloud produced.

Remarks: Last eruption was in 2013-2015.

Daily receiving and analysis of data of the satellites TERRA, NOAA - (Far Eastern Branch FSI SIE “Rosgeolfond”, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk), TERRA, AGUA - (IACP FEB RAS, Vladivostok). Data from Internet - satellites MTSAT.

Visual observations are used for the volcanoes of Kunashir and Iturup Islands.

Surface instrumental observations are absent; there are no seismic networks on any of these Kurile volcanoes and our ability to detect the onset of volcanic unrest is limited
